Literature Text
A man in a coat, drenched from rain,
Sustaining his sorrows, to try and stand up again,
First the spouse, now the young,
The very first tragedy in life had begun,
Arriving home after the news struck,
He believed that he had ran out of luck,
His telephone rang, but no response,
His heart and mind drifted aloft,
Laying in bed, a processed thought,
" Did God punish me for acting distraught? "
Dreams weren't woven, laying disjoined,
Until the moment he envisioned a rusty copper coin,
Hovering in the air, the heads turned hither where he stood,
The face concealed with a tarnished hood,
It spoke, the language hard to apprehend,
The rusty debris had led its noise to a dead end,
Suddenly, it flipped to its opposite partner,
The tails, spotless and clean like shiny armor,
He floated close to him, whispering to his ear,
" Loss is typical, do not hold it dear,
Make those poisoned memories disappear,
The less you think of them, happiness comes near,
Now listen more, you have much to hear,
The answers seeking you are only a peer,
To reach this goal, you must adhere,
To a livelihood in which you must veer,
Down to a road covered and smeared,
Where it leads is accurately queer,
But don't worry, you have nothing to fear... "
The man woke up relaxed and tired,
To the sound of sirens marching towards the source of fire,
Knocking at the door, he opened it slightly,
Men in uniform waiting delightfully,
Away he goes, abducted by force,
According to sources, he felt no remorse,
" Onward! ", he said " to a simpler life,
Where serenity reigns away from my strife,
In my hand, I hold a knife,
Which will always remain bloody... "

bones pushing against the skin of hands
that grip each other's shadows
as the breaths come slower.

metallic, dull with fear,

Irretrievably Broken
What can you do when the person who is supposed to love you the most doesn't care at all?
What should you do when the person who is supposed to have your back at all times stabs you in it instead?
What does it say when all the people who were supposed to be friends to both of you kept their silence?
I may forgive one day, but I will never trust again.

I Saw You Broken, Bloody, and Bruised
I want to bust this thing open
Break it into a million pieces
Until the galaxy rips open
And I can calmly say
"No, you're not doing this to her."
As lame as it sounds
To go white-knighting around
I would have wanted to save you
From all that has transpired
But now it's too late
I'm just finding out
I guess this is life
Not being able to save everyone
Neither the strangers you pass
Nor the ones you hold close
I feel helpless
I can't say
It'll never happen again
I can only let you know that...
More than I want my own happiness
I want you to never feel this again
I hope my words hold a little meaning
Let my empathy carry enough weight
